Curriculum Vitae
Dr. Lawrence Lenke is one of the world’s foremost leaders in spinal deformity surgery. He is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in complex reconstructive spine surgery for children and adults. In addition to deformities such as scoliosis and kyphosis, he also treats structural imbalances of the spinal column. Dr. Lenke is a prolific researcher and author. The C.V. below is current to May 2008 at which time Dr. Lenke had published 223 Journal Articles, 6 textbooks and 86 book chapters. He had made 513 Paper Presentations to National and International Professional Societies. Dr. Lenke had served as chairman of medical courses and meetings 65 times, including six consecutive years as the Chairman of the International Meeting on Advanced Spine Techniques (IMAST) which is the largest international meeting. Dr. Lenke has developed surgical technologies and methods that are taught worldwide. Dr. Lenke combines the highest level of surgical expertise with high-quality patient care.
