| 17-year-old boy who had Scheuermann’s kyphosis who had previously undergone an anterior
and posterior fusion with instrumentation at another institution complicated by implant
dislodgement and infection. The implants were removed with his kyphosis progressing to 115º
in the sagittal plane (lateral view). He underwent a revision posterior instrumentation and fusion
with a pedicle screw construct. At two years postoperative his sagittal plane kyphosis has been
corrected to 49º, which is in the normal range. |
